Re: Digital Speedometer

FYI on this subject: On my 2014 I just put on snow tires, TOYO observ studless snow tires. They are 235/60/R18 size. So to see if I messed up the speedo, I took the Magellan Roadmate GPS and clicked the display to mph. I've been curious, because the digital speedo and the needle are not exactly on t...

Driving Lights for Police Sedan?

Has anybody found good-looking driving lights for the Police Sedan?

Or has anybody retrofitted Taurus Limited driving lights into the Police Sedan bumper cover?

Change your own oil? 2014 Police Sedan

Hi Guys - I just changed the oil on the 2014 Police Sedan for the first time. Do you guys take off the skid plate, or just work the filter with it in place? I took out the six bolts holding it in about the amount of time it took for the oil to drain out, but I was wondering how everybody else did it!

Re: Cop car fascination?

Don't tell anybody - but I'm a refugee from CVN too - my 2008 P71 was a terrific car.

But the 2014 is better.

Re: Cop car fascination?

I specifically wanted a Police Sedan, and for my 2014 with less than 5k miles on it I paid $16,200. Try to buy a AWD Taurus with those miles for even twice that price. I wanted the heavy duty alternator, the beefed up crash protection, and yes, if my wife slides it over a curb on an icy street, I wa...

Re: 4 Button Remotes Part Number(s) 2014 Police Sedan

FYI - I just took my car over to have the keyless remote enabled, and they can't do it because it doesn't have the module. So it turns out, according to them, that NOT all Police Sedans are ready for keyless remote. I'm going to find out about this module, and if I can pull one out of a wrecked Taur...

Rear Door Lock Rods 2014 Police Sedan

Hello again guys - my 2014 Police Sedan has working rear door handles, but no lock rods sticking up.

Has anybody installed them lately, and if so do you have the parts numbers for what I need?

Thanks!

4 Button Remotes Part Number(s) 2014 Police Sedan

Hi Guys - my 2014 Police Sedan didn't come with keyless entry, so I intend to go get the keyless entry activated on the dealers IDs computer, and I see lots of the 4-button remotes for sale, but I want to buy a couple of the correct ones. What part number am I looking for?

Thanks in advance !

Hi from Big Sky Country, 2014 Police Sedan

Hi Guys - I just bought my first Taurus - a 2014 Police Sedan with the 3.7 Cyclone, AWD, with only 5500 miles on it. So far I upgraded it a little, by buying the wheel covers from the appearance package, the TAURUS emblem for the trunk, and new floor mats for the Taurus Limited. I even spent the $59...
