We have enough foreign made car parts on cars as it is. Don't need anymore copycats from third world squalor countries making sub-standard parts and taking jobs away from the USA!

Isn't this about *software* ?

And by the way, who among us knows where the software was written? I have never had the opportunity to inspect automobile software code, but on other software that I have immediately at hand (H&R Block, Norton 360) I see nothing indicating country of origin or what fraction is imported.

I can see both sides of the dispute.

It's all about money and Who gets it as the consumer is left in the middle.
