- Vehicle: Mercury Sable LS premium
Ok so I have a 2001 mercury sable LS Premium in fair to decent condition with 203000 miles and so far I have replaced the ball joints strut and lower control arm and many other things and when I hit a tiny dip or bump in the road there is a knocking sound coming from the passenger front. It only makes the clunk when the wheel/strut is coming back down from hitting a bump and so far nobody can figure out where its coming from including me. I have been under it numerous times and I have had the car driven and looked at from two different shops and they keep telling me it's all good to drive. Hope they are right because I drive that car for my job and put over 100 miles on it every day. Anyway just wondering if someone could possibly help me with this problem. Thank you to anyone who takes the time to respond.
