"Dark Car Feature" on/off with FORscan ?

Just curious, does anyone know if this feature can be turned on or off with Forscan? I'm thinking that interior lights would be nice when I open my door at night..

Yep, I did the same. Can also select DRL and how the car behaves when locking via remote.

You can add led strips to the footwell too. One of the unused pigtails has a "door" lead (plenty of grounds).

Where is the pigtail located? will it only work if dark car mode is OFF?

There are two unused pigtails (well, actually there are many unused pigtails) under the PI lower dash. This guy shows them (0:36 in). I thought I had a picture of the key which shows what each pinout does, but I can't locate it. One of them is "door switch" and is the hot to what would become your footwell LED lights.

Looks like the harness and the dash to console trim piece were $79 (which I found to be the best price, by FAR) total through DAS Parts, but it isn't giving me the harness p/n.
I can't say whether or not it would work while Dark is ON since I had Dark shutoff by the time I installed the footwell lights. I would suspect that it wouldn't work though, but that's just a guess.

Ah I get it! I'll try the pin with a multimeter to see if it works with dark car mode on thanks
