I've been looking at various tuners that you can buy, I have one for my charger. But so far, I have not found one that lists the interceptor specifically. Anyone else?

Livernois has one, as do Cobb, and Bully Dog.

thanks. I had not run across the last two. I'll take a look. I see the Taurus and the SHO but not the PI exactly.

Don't worry about that, it's still just a stripped out Taurus, no matter what Ford calls it.
Go to a tire site, like tire rack, and put in PI and see what's available. Now search by Taurus, and see how your choices magically expanded by a factor of ten, for example.

I noticed that with the tire sizes too. Picked up a 2014 PI in Tampa on Thursday. Drove back to PA with no issues. Sorting it out now, but would like to buy a programmer for it and play. I did download forscan and bought a ODB to USB unit, to look at keyfobs and remote start.

I compare everything from my 13 to a SHO. If it's an upgrade, I replace with that.

That is not true.

PI tire size is 245/55R18

Taurus SHO is 255/45R19 or 245/45R20
Taurus SEL is 235/55R18 or 255/45R19

The 245/55R18 really is a pain in the a$# tire size. Maybe this should be another thread just about tires. But it would be great to find another R18 size that has many more options.

You can change tire size in forscan, too, BTW. Go 19", 17", whatever. But, as long as all 4 are the same diameter though, you won't have PTU issues, just your speedo may be off if you elect to not change it in forscan. You can do plus 1/minus 1 and keep tire diameter close to stock.

Rule of thumb is;
10mm/10% per inch. ex. 245/55/18 and 235/45/17 should be the same diameter.

Anyway, Tirerack has 12 tires to choose from in stock PI 245/55/18. Search by size, not car.

http://www.unleashedtuning.com/ has everything you could want for tuning as well as https://www.livernoismotorsports.com/

Both are heavily into the SHO and F150 tuning.

I have a 2014 PI Ecoboost. After a 93 tune, it's really a whole new beast. I used Brad (AJPTurbo), he was great to work with. See sig for my current mods.

tirerack has seemed pretty weak for the Taurus PI, but simpletire.com has about 20 tire options for the 18 inch PI OEM size.
2014 Ecoboost PI - AJPturbo 3 Bar/93 tune - AEM dry panel - Reische 170 thermo - SP542 plugs - EPP Hotpipes - Power Stop Z37 Top Cop pads and slotted rotors
