Beating the crap out of your PI

Post by policeinterceptorfan » Sun Dec 09, 2018 8:09 pm

So when i first got my PI i drove it like a grandma. I'm starting to think about dogging it with some hard accelerations and fast turns. At the end of the day I dont see the point of babying it as it was made to take abuse and the cops beat the crap out of it already. Should I do it? How do yall drive your PIs?

I drive it as situations require... sometimes like Mario Andretti.
Best handling car I've owned, it handles like a champ. Its still got the RSA eagle tires and it moves

Drove the 2013 PI to the dealer for the infamous waterpump replacement, and we just had 6 inches of snow. Those RSA's are amazing on snowpack! They sure don't look it though. First AWD car I've ever owned, besides my Wrangler, and I am impressed.

Drive it like you stole it. I got mine at 7500 miles and just clicked 75000 last night. When you have a car that is stable at high speeds and clears the left lane like a hot knife through butter, have at it. My car is driven hard and mostly highway miles. The only money I have put into it is tires and front pads. They are built heavy duty for the abuse.

Wait - What? This is a real question? Of course you have to drive it like you stole it, I thought that was the whole point.
