2013 Interceptor vs Newer
Are there fundamental differences between the 2013 models and those after? I heard a lot of quirks were worked out after 2013, I also find it difficult to find 2014+ ecoboost models, does this correlate?
Thanks
Thanks
Re: 2013 Interceptor vs Newer
Early 2013 builds did not have digital speedometer, gauge cluster changed in 2014 (increments of 20 in MPH only, all models had a gauge with a max speed of 160 MPH introduced on mid 2014 models), seats were changed sometime in mid production or so of 2015 models, back up camera became standard in 2016 (or 2017), LED turn signals were introduced in 2016 or 2017, and I believe Sync became standard in 2019.
As far as the motor, after 2013, the standard was a 3.7 L, and 3.5 L was available on FWD and Ecoboost models only. A FWD 2.0 L V4 Ecoboost Special Service model was introduced in 2016.

Front directional only. I have a video of one that someone sent me, but I don’t know how to upload on here.

Yes, only amber colored. In the video I posted, the owner had a Whelen light package set up.

Is this perchance the LED turn signal in question?
