Wheel covers

Post by Badbrad10 » Sun Aug 18, 2019 10:03 am

I purchased the full plastic wheel covers for my 2014 interceptor, I removed the Center caps and figured the plastic wheel cover would "snap on" the shouldered lug nuts that came on the car, but the wheel cover will not snap on. What wheel lug nuts do I need? Looks like the same wheel covers are on the Ford Transit Vans.

Should be the same lugs. I actually recently did the opposite. My car came with covers and I swapped to the center caps. I didn't change lug nuts.

You're right in that the wheel covers are supposed to snap on. You should see 5 "grabby things" that grab on to the lug nuts. Also, there's a cut out on the outside of the wheel cover for the valve stem. Make sure this is lined up properly, and push very hard on top of where the lug nuts are and it should snap on.
