Hi all. First, I just finished installing a center floor console into my 2013 PI. Heres the pic. Its out of a 2015 Taurus SHO. It wasn’t a difficult job. Second, I have searched this forum for information on upgrading the radio unit. I also have done an exhaustive online search and found this unit. Heres the link. It appears to be manufactured in China and claims to be completely compatible with the 2013 PI Dash with MANUAL HVAC. Your expert thoughts would be appreciated by all. Thanks.

Re: Radio Upgrade for the 2013 PI
I have the same aftermarket unit. You get radio, bluetooth, android auto/apple carplay compatibility, a dvd player, and many more things. The climate controls are integrated in the radio. If you try and install an oem factory remote start it will not start your climate controls since it doesn't remote start the radio. I ended up having an aftermarket remote start installed to fix that issue. I didn't like the internal navigation app and use android auto almost exclusively for that.
The one thing that really irritates me is when you make or receive phone calls with it. The bluetooth phone page will pop up and will continue to pop up even when you try and close it. So lets say you receive a phone call while drive and the page pops up. You answer it and try to exit out of that page. The page will pop right back up after about a second. I found that I needed to close the page and immediate open something else in order for that phone page not to pop right back up. It's annoying as hell.
Hope that helps.

Re: Radio Upgrade for the 2013 PI
I just installed one of these headunits last week and its already giving me issues with bluetooth connectivity, AndroidAuto connectivity, and I have total loss of volume control. I have an email in to them so I guess the quality of their customer service is about to be revealed.
