Is there any other modules that can be flashed to unlock other features?

You’re welcome & all of them! Having IDS gives you FULL dealer programming! Installing + updating all the modules, at your ease with IDS. Even allows you to program your key fobs/PATS.

—Just remember to keep the battery charged up and on constant charging before starting the update/installation via IDS, as it’s 100% better safe than sorry when it cuts out, which will more likely make you get a new module.

I've have experience flashing with IDS, HDS, Witech, consult, techstream, delco tds, vag com, and BMW. Just wasnt sure about some of the "alternative" flashing methods.

I actually have access to a legitimate IDS at work but not allow to use it on personally vehicles.

Ohh! & Would be easier to use the real one lol. Makes it a lot easier haha. Sucks you can’t use it on personal vehicles.

So I got the IDS to work. I was playing with it a bit this morning. But when I click module programming, it says "section not available"

Shoot, you gotta remove all the IDS installation and do it again. Remove all the temp files as well. Then follow below, and it should work.

First the Ford IDS software, then when its done, reboot the computer. Log back in but don't touch the IDS yet. Then install the VXDIAG driver. When that is done, download the VX Manager from allscanner.com. Then when that is done and installed, click the VX Manager, it'll possibly ask you to update the firmware for your VXDIAG device, click yes and it'll take a few seconds to update the firmware, depending on your network. When that's done, click on Diagnostic Apps (or similar) and download the Ford IDS software app (this is to bypass the serial screen and use the programming mode) on VX Manager and the Pass-Through app (this is for your device) on VX Manager as well. When that is all done, there should be a IDS extension file on your CD, use this to open IDS, and you're in! As for Dealer Type, Dealer Code, and Country, use Ford, 1111, and choose your country (doesn't really matter). Use IDS as normal.

Let me know if you have any issues!

Hey I keep installing and uninstalling everything and as far as programming goes, I keep getting the message, section not available. Did you use the ids_full and ids_patch that came on the CD? Do you need any of the other files in the CD?

By the way, I love the color of your car, super rare. Really wish I could have got that color. Mines pretty scarce too, it’s Minnesota State Patrol Red. If you’re near the Chicago area let me know I can try to help out haha.
I'm sorry, what was that you were saying about rare colors? :D

I think I’ve seen this red Taurus on one of the Facebook groups lol. Can’t say which one because a few people have it.
