My 2018 Taurus is a basic SE model w/o options. The instrument cluster includes a large analog tachometer on the left and an equally large analog speedometer on the right. In the center is the display for information, coolant temp., settings, etc.
My concern is that this center section is very dark as though the light bulb is inop. It doesn't seem to respond to the 'brightness' control either. Anyone else experience this condition??

I have an 18 also. The center section is easily visible and adjusts with the dimmer switch. You may have a bulb or something out.

On mine, only a few items react to the dimmer switch. Thanks for the input, I'm headed to the Ford dealer (wish me luck!).
