connector name/type

Post by nate12387 » Wed Feb 13, 2019 10:50 pm

Does anyone know the name or type of connector that ford uses to connect the radio screen to the rest of the car? It is the black connector on the image below.

Thanks,

Nate

I can't see inside to determine the pin count, but this is the kind of place that should help you locate what you need:

the cable just has the sheathing pulled back and wiring pinned for the plug. Finding the plug will tell you which pin type you need.

Thanks for the link. I can tell you it can have 12 pins. It's the male version of the connector that plugs into the 4" display for the radio.

Thanks,

Nathan Martin
