Rear Wheel Hub and Bearing Assembly

Post by kaptainkriz » Fri Apr 19, 2019 12:47 pm

2011 SEL - At 195K miles the left rear bearing finally failed (noise). Repair was pretty straight forward DIY, along the lines of changing brakes. Dropped a YouTube video for those interested in seeing what the job entails: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YA6fFHwOPDw

Fantastic video work. A great how-to. For those of us with AWD, there's also the added complexity of the drive axle.

Thanks for sharing.
