Post by Shiki » Mon Sep 04, 2017 11:39 am

Ok so was doi mg maintenance on my 1999 ford Taurus se checking fluids hoses the usual and when I got under it I noticed something I haven't seen before there is a plug that is in between the front fender and the radiator in that weird space about where the headlights would be but it's hanging right in the middle where the ford logo is does anyone know what it goes to and if it's serious.

I'm not 100% sure but I'd say it is for an outside temperature sensor. If you have automatic climate control or another outside temp display from the factory, that plug would be used.
