broken IPC or temp sensor on a 2015!!

Post by mymangochutney » Mon Sep 24, 2018 11:15 am

I have a 2015 Taurus that's had broken AC for the past while. (How does a 2 year old car have that issue?)

According to my mechanics scanner the evap sensor jump from -2 to 3 degrees (~30-36) which causes the ac to shut off to prevent freezing. This is outside during summer temps in a very hot car

Here's a screenshot from the scanner

I tested the resistence and got ~68F/20C worth of resistance (37k ohms)

Does this mean my IPC or other module is junk? The cabin temp and outside temp are correct
