How to tell if I have an exhaust leak?

Noticed a few months back engine sounds more "rumbly" under 2000 rpm, and I hear a fluttery noise (non turbo car) when accelerating.

I can post a video if it'd help but it's really hard to pickup on camera. My engine was out more than once so maybe a seal isn't on totally right?
